After a few years of moving into their new build family home Mr and Mrs Atwal wanted to incorporate cooling systems into some of the bedrooms to combat the searing heat of the new normal hot summers being experienced in the UK summertime.
The problem being, British architects and developers continue to build extremely energy efficient homes designed traditionally for cold winters and cooler summers to keep the warm inside and cold outside. However, British temperatures are rising each year and architects and designers are giving little thought to the consequences of the new norm of regular hot summers! The efficiency of the building materials and construction do the opposite in the summer and keep the heat in and the cold out making modern new build homes very uncomfortable living spaces during the summer.
With such a beautiful home the couple were looking for an ultra-stylish energy efficient low carbon air conditioning system that was quiet, easy to control and provide ample cooling for the family to sleep at night.
During our initial detailed site survey, it became apparent that although concealed ducted units were preferred it was not possible to install them due to the construction of the house. Some of the rooms had vaulted ceilings. Aesthetics were important to the couple, after discussing various options Toshibas wall mounted Hoari range were offered, and the order placed.
Toshibas Haori range is a truly elegant minimalistic textile covered unit which are wrapped in modern covered fabric. You can even have your own fabric cut to size to suit any interior. All units come with Wi-Fi control, Plasma Ionizing filter system and a self-cleaning coil as standard. Ultra-quiet and low carbon energy use A+++.
“We are absolutely delighted with our Toshiba Haori system. From the initial consultation through to installation, everything was handled professionally and with great attention to detail. The finish is superb and the unit looks fantastic in our home. A first-class service throughout.”
