Cara Rimmer is our Service & Installation Manager and has been a key part of the Air Control Southern team for over two years. She joined the company from the car delivery industry, a fast-paced, high-pressure environment that demands exceptional logistics coordination and outstanding customer service skills.
Known for her fun, polite, and approachable manner, Cara pairs this with impressive efficiency and superb organisational ability. She works extremely hard to ensure the smooth running of both service and installation operations, keeping schedules on track and supporting both engineers and clients alike.

Bringing a decade of invaluable experience to the Air Control team, Sarah Gifford is our dedicated Accounts & Office Manager. Following in the footsteps of his father Sam Tolliday, Byron Tolliday, is an integral part of our team. Much like Toby Oliver, Byron has been with us since leaving school, showcasing remarkable dedication and passion for the air conditioning industry. Now fully qualified, Byron possesses a diverse skill set that encompasses installation, maintenance, and diagnostics. His journey from apprentice to a fully qualified engineer is a testament to his commitment to professional growth and excellence. Toby Oliver, a crucial member of our team, holds the role of an Air Conditioning Engineer with 5 years of hands-on experience. Toby has been an integral part of the Air Control family since his apprentice days, where he joined as a school leaver. Now fully qualified and extensively trained, Toby’s expertise extends not only to service & maintenance but also to installations. His comprehensive skill set and commitment to excellence make him a valuable asset in ensuring that our clients receive exccellent service throughout the entire lifecycle of their air con systems. James Rowland has rapidly progressed from apprentice to fully qualified Service Engineer, demonstrating exceptional skill and dedication in the field of refrigeration and air conditioning. He was nominated for the prestigious RAC Student of the Year and achieved 2nd place in the National Skills Competition, reflecting his commitment to excellence.
James has been trained to the highest levels across all major manufacturers, including Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, and Fujitsu, ensuring he delivers top-tier service and expertise to our clients. His journey from apprentice to fully qualified engineer highlights his passion, loyalty, and professional growth within Air Control Southern.

Tomas La Feuvre joined Air Control Southern a few months ago and is our newest engineer, bringing with him an impressive nine years of installation experience within the refrigeration and air conditioning industry. He is NVQ Level 3 qualified, having self-funded his qualification while gaining hands-on experience on the tools and attending evening school two nights a week—demonstrating real commitment and drive.
Tomas excels in large-scale installations and has extensive experience working on major contracting and commercial projects. He is known for his methodical approach, strong organisational skills, and consistently neat, high-quality workmanship.
His experience, professionalism, and attention to detail make Tomas a valuable addition to the Air Control Southern team.
Jayden Horner is a Service Engineer with NVQ Level 2 qualifications in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning and over three years of solid, hands-on experience across installation, maintenance, and service work. He has now firmly settled into a maintenance and servicing role, where his skills and reliability truly shine.
Jayden’s journey with Air Control Southern began while he was still at school, when he completed a week of work experience with us. He later joined the company as a school leaver, demonstrating early commitment and a strong passion for the industry.
Known for being genuinely kind and approachable, Jayden is popular with both colleagues and customers alike. He brings a positive attitude to every job and is always seen with a smile on his face, making him a pleasure to work with and a trusted presence on site.

Ben Clark joined Air Control Southern as a 1st Year Apprentice after previously completing a BTEC in Electrical Installation. Seeking a new career path, Ben demonstrated strong enthusiasm and potential, which stood out to us and led to him being offered an apprenticeship within the company.
He is currently studying towards his NVQ Level 3 at City of Portsmouth College while gaining valuable hands-on experience on site. Polite, reliable, enthusiastic, and intelligent, Ben brings a positive attitude to his training and shows great promise as he develops within the refrigeration and air conditioning industry.

Christian Sheppard joined Air Control Southern this summer during our busiest period and has quickly become a valued member of the team. Since joining, he has shown a strong ability to learn installation skills and procedures, adapting well to the demands of the role.
